8 years designing for 60M+ users across Latam — from zero-to-one products to systems that moved the needle on business metrics. Currently at Mercado Libre, the largest tech company in Latin America.
Trabajé durante 2 años en este proyecto para 9 países de Latam bajo el objetivo de reducir la fricción y el tiempo de registro para entrar al marketplace más grande de la región.
I contributed to the early foundations of the motion design system at Mercado Libre, Latin America’s largest technology ecosystem, as part of a multidisciplinary UX and motion team supporting more than 80 designers and 700 developers.
I’m David, a product designer from Colombia with a background in graphic design. I began my career in marketing agencies, working across branding, advertising, and visual design before transitioning into UX.
My first UX role was as a web designer, back when the discipline was still taking shape. Since then, I’ve spent eight years designing digital products across marketplaces, fintech, and B2B services. I’ve worked in startups and established companies, including nearly five years at Mercado Libre, the biggest tech company in Latam.
That range of experience has shaped how I approach product design: combining visual craft, business thinking, and a deep understanding of context. You can find the full timeline in my CV.
I'm looking for a place where the drive to challenge myself, grow, and solve problems I'm passionate about is just part of the job.
Shall we work together?
